I wanted to let you know that my husband put together his new golf impact screen today and could not be happier. All the dimensions were perfect, and it went together really quickly. We are 100% satisfied customers. THANK YOU!!
Bring the fairway to you and improve your game from the comfort of your garage, barn, backyard or any space large enough to swing a golf club. You're ready to get training with your very own DIY Golf Simulator, rain or shine. Maybe you even have a swing caddie ready to track your golf swing speed!
Before you tee up, the first decision you need to make concerns budget — do you splurge for incredible image quality or get the size you want? Learn how to select the best impact material.
For those indecisive or curious about which tradeoff to make to fit your budget, let's start with screens and go from there. We offer Standard, Preferred, and Premium golf simulator screens ranging in price, each with their own advantages.
Aspect Ratio:
We recommend building a DIY impact screen to match your projector's aspect ratio. However, Carl's golf screens are often chosen to fit a space first and fit a projected image second. Choose whichever is more important to you. See this What is Aspect Ratio article for more information or learn How to Select Your Golf Screen Size When Designing Your Own Simulator.
Packaging:
Opt to have foldable materials sent in a box to save on packaging and freight to keep your material shipping affordable. Finished Edge Golf Screens ship folded in a box and cannot be rolled.
Made to Order:
Golf simulator screens are made to order and require up to 5 business days for manufacturing plus the delivery time you select in the online shopping cart. (Shipping and Returns)
Impact Screen Options:
- Perfect for beginners or first-timers – an inexpensive impact screen for golf.
- Budget-friendly golf hitting net for golf simulators.

Looking to mount your finished edge screen? We recommend our 6-inch Black Ball Bungees, available in any quantity you can think of.
Note that the life of a screen varies based on use. All Carl's impact screen users should note that these materials are "wearable" products. The style, ability, and frequency of the user will all contribute to the service life of a screen. However, all of our golf training aid materials and screens have been tested to withstand thousands of strikes at up to 250 miles per hour. 1:1 = Non-Standard. These sizes are not a standard aspect ratio.
Aspect ratio simply refers to the shape of the image being projected. When the ratio of the projector, image, and screen match the image fills the entire screen. The 1:1 is a square and is not a standard aspect ratio for projectors, but may work if space is limited, although it increases the chances of seeing black bars and you will likely have to adjust the settings on your computer. Adjusting the settings on your computer may be very difficult for most customers unless you are technically savvy.
Caution: To decrease your risk of bounce back and greatly reduce the chances of getting hit with a golf ball do *not* stand closer than 10-11 feet away from the screen. Customers who stand closer will experience bounce back and increase the risk of injury. Our recommendation is to stand a minimum 12-15 feet away from the screen for safety.
Package dimensions and weights may vary, however, every effort has been made to provide the most accurate information available.

Buying a Projector
BTW I love it. If it was the wife or screen. I would pick the screen. ;0)
This is by far the best impact screen I have ever had! After a year of Tour player ball speeds hitting the screen on a daily basis, the screen still looks like the day we got it. I would highly recommend this screen to anyone!
Insert text blurb here
This is a must have for any golf simulator set up and doubles as a big screen for sporting events. I use this with the OptiShot2 with an overhead projector. I recommend purchasing "Almost Golf Balls", although this thing can easily take and stop regular ones. If you're worried about the length being too long, don't. It's actually nice having the extra part curved to the ground to function as a type of ball return. I was worried about creases. This is VERY heavy, durable stuff so the creases work themselves out after hanging for a bit. PROS: high quality, heavy-weight fabric, great image quality, strong grommets and high quality edging and fast, responsive customer service (I emailed with a couple questions prior to purchasing - YES they can do custom sizes if you want. CONS: None
I received your product and already installed it. I said to myself when I opened it, "Are you kidding me, WOW, this looks fantastic!!!" My friends drove about 20 miles to see the simulator. They are impressed. Thank you so much!"
Works great. Thanks!
The picture is great and the impact screen is working very well. You have a great product and priced very well.
I received my screen yesterday and just wanted to let you know that I am more than happy with it! I built my own frame out of EMT and hung the screen on the front. One thing I am super impressed with is the noise level. I cannot believe how quiet it is. I can now play at night when the kids are sleeping upstairs! My makeshift setup with a sheet was way too loud.
